Anarchists for Palestine from Berlin joined the international Punks Against Apartheid Network

Announcement by Punks Against Apartheid (PAA):

We are overjoyed to announce that Berlin anarchist & autonomous pro Palestine network – Anarchists 4 Palestine – has joined the Punks Against Apartheid Network!

We have been following A4P’s work with interest and were excited to begin chatting with them at the end of last year. Their organising is especially crucial in Germany, where for too long anti-fascist organising has overlapped with Zionist & genocidal ideologies because of the very peculiar strain of ‘antideutsche’ that has reigned there since World War II.

Germany–now on its third or fourth genocide, depending on how you count–is one of the front lines of the solidarity movement in the West given how brutal the repression has been against Palestinian, dissident Jewish, and other voices which express support for BDS and condemns genocide. We are excited then to both expand PAA and through this collaboration help our international followers learn more about the German situation and how we can support bands & organisations there in their fight.

As A4P describes their mission:

“Our aim is to break the silence in parts of our scene about the genocide against Palestinian people and to make Palestine solidarity and anti-colonial fights an integral part of the anarchist & autonomous agenda again.”

We couldn’t have put it better ourselves!

Onwards to liberation. Let BDS and Palestine become the ‘common sense’ of all our movements. We say along with our German comrades:
