For the two important trials, we will have comrades join us from other cities in Germany, in a full half-day of protest.
The first trial (9:00 Turmstraße_91) concerns a comrade who was beaten up by a gang of cops at the 2024 LLL-Demo for defending the “Palestine Bloc” of the demonstration. The cops injured him so bad that he ended up in the ICU with broken bones. In absurd German fashion, he is accused of “assaulting cops” and faces an 8 months suspended sentence and 2 years probation.
The second trial (12:30 Turmstraße_91) is of a Palestinian refugee who’s been in pre-trial detention for 4 months! He is facing multiple years in prison for allegedly throwing fireworks at a police car in late 2023. The absurdity of every element of this case can be attributed to the fact that the General State Attorney (highest level in the state) took it upon himself to personally prosecute him in what can only be seen as a specific targeting of this refugee for his Palestine solidarity work.
يوم الخميس 26.06.2025 انضموا إلينا في وقفتين، في موقعين مختلفين، نصلهم ببعضهما البعض عبر مظاهرة من أول وقفة إلى الثانية!
بالنسبة لجلستي الاستماع المهمّتين، سينضم إلينا رفاق من مدن أخرى، في نصف يوم كامل من الاحتجاج.
تتعلق المحاكمة الأولى (9:00 صباحاً في Turmstr. 91) برفيق تعرض للضرب بهمجية من قبل مجموعة من رجال الشرطة في مظاهرة LLL-Demo عام ٢٠٢٤ بسبب دفاعه عن “القسم الفلسطيني” من المظاهرة. وقد أصابه رجال الشرطة بجروح بالغة حتى انتهى به المطاف مهشّم العظام في وحدة العناية المركزة. وبكل وقاحة ألمانية، تم اتهامه بـ “الاعتداء على رجال الشرطة” ويواجه حكماً بالسجن لمدة 8 أشهر مع وقف التنفيذ وسنتين تحت المراقبة.
أما المحاكمة الثانية (12:30 في Turmstr. 91) فهي للاجئ فلسطيني في السجن بذمة التحقيق منذ 4 أشهر! وهو يواجه احتمالية السجن لعدة سنوات بتهمة إلقاء ألعاب نارية على سيارة شرطة في أواخر عام 2023. المدعي العام للدولة (أعلى مدّعي عام في ولاية برلين) أخذ على عاتقه مقاضاته شخصيًا فيما لا يمكن اعتباره إلا استهدافًا خاصاً لهذا اللاجئ بسبب عمله التضامني مع فلسطين.
