This is the largest hunger strike since 1981, yet the mainstream media refuses to cover it, and the Government acts like it isn’t happening.

Prisoners for Palestine is a prisoner-led collective in the UK representing all those detained under charges related to Palestinian liberation.

They coordinate with activists, organisers and supporters to continue resistance from both sides of the prison walls. With their solidarity, they combat the isolation and hopelessness that the prison system attempts to impose on prisoners.

There are currently at least 32 people in the UK illegally detained by the British state lor their actions against genocide, and this number may increase as the state implements ever more draconian measures against protest.

These measures include the calculated use of counterterrorism legislation in an attempt to silence legitimate dissent, which has been widely condemned by lawyers, human rights experts and international organisations alike.

This is an open call for the free people of the world to overcome the indignity of feeling helpless.

To know that even those who have experienced the brutality of counter-terrorism policing, refuse to be passive in the ongoing genocide. And to reaffirm that the abolition of prisons is predicated upon the liberation of Palestine.

THEIR DEMANDS ARE

1. End all censorship
to be able to send and receive communications without restriction, surveillance, or interference from the prison administration.

2. immediate bail
to be released from custody while awaiting trials

3. Right to a fair trial
with all relevant documents related to their cases released in full, including government records of all Elbit Systems UK exports from the last five years

4. Deproscribe
immediate dropping of all terror related charges and ‘links’ for Palestine Action

5. Shut Elbit down
that the government scrap the £2.7 billion contract with Elbit that it is about to sign, and that all Elbit systems’ sites and its subsidiaries in the UK are permanently shut down.
