Berlin police chief Barbara Slowik Meisel linked to pro-Israel evangelical lobby groups

Europe Palestine Network, 08.03.2026: A report revealed that Berlin Police Chief Barbara Slowik Meisel attended an event (“Israel Day Berlin-Brandenburg 2026”) as an honorary guest organized by a German evangelical group supporting Israel, called “Christians Standing with Israel” (german: “Christen an der Seite Israels”), which was attended by more than 400 participants.

The event included religious reflections on “God’s plans for Israel” and featured activists and journalists who support Israeli policies.

Her participation comes amid increasing criticism of how Berlin handled pro-Palestinian demonstrators in recent months.

Karoline Preisler from the so called “liberal” party FDP is known for her tryings to provocate at leftist and pro Palestine demonstrations by holding signs with racist anti-Palestinian content, always secured by the cops.

And Iman Sefati — a notorious Iranian monarchist working at the german right-wing conservative newspaper BILD — is also known for doing provocations at many leftist and pro Palestine demonstrations, highly secured by the police. He always try to make photos of people to denunciate them to the police.

At the Website of “Christians Standing with Israel” (csi-aktuell.de) and their Instagram account multiple propaganda and lobby events are listed, spreading hatred against Arabs and the left movement. And they offer Israel tours including concrete business tours — all in the name of God.
