  • [2025/01/31] Trial Support & Solidarity Rally for comrade in pre-trial detention prison since 4 month!

    After all these testimonies are over, at 31.01.2025 the imprisoned comrade will give an input/speech at the trial!

    At the previous hearing on 27.01.25 the state put the comrade again in a wooden cage while police officers from Bayern gave testimonies regarding the “attacking police” charges. The rally outside the court faced a lot of police harassment and arrests under the pretence that the slogan “Zionisten sind Faschisten” constitutes “inciting the public”. The police arrested almost half the rally attendees and took them to the detention center in Spandau, releasing them a couple of hours later.

    They are trying to criminalize our solidarity with this brave woman, who has been held since October 2024 in prison (Untersuchungshaft) for allegedly: Attempted damage to property, attempted arson, use of signs of unconstitutional or terrorist organizations, resistance to law enforcement officers, and assault on law enforcement officers.

    The next two hearings are this week. On Friday, after all these testimonies are over, there will be input from her side!

    Let us all join in solidarity with this brave comrade who defends her principles and Palestine even from behind bars!

    Gegen die Verharmlosung von Völkermorden und die Repression der Palästina-Solidarität.

    Am 11. November 2023 twitterte Dror Dayan den verbotenen Slogan über das Meer und den Fluss als Kommentar dazu, dass dieser Slogan in Deutschland verboten und mit Nazisymbolen gleichgesetzt werden soll. Jetzt steht er wegen “Verwendens von Kennzeichen verfassungswidriger und terroristischer Organisationen” vor Gericht.

    Wir sagen klar: Eure Verbrechen, nicht unsere!

    Schluss mit der Täter-Opfer-Umkehr und der Reinwaschung des deutschen Gewissens auf dem Rücken der Palästinenser. Verbote und Einschränkungen der Meinungsfreiheit können die deutsche Beteiligung am Völkermord in Gaza nicht verschleiern!

    Ob durch Waffenlieferungen, vor dem Internationalen Strafgerichtshof oder mit dem Knüppel auf der Straße, die BRD stellt sich wieder stolz auf die Seite des Völkermordes. Wir rufen alle auf, am 27.1. zur Kundgebung und Prozessbegleitung zu kommen und die Stimme gegen diesen von Deutschland unterstützten Völkermord zu erheben. Die Repression zu Hause dient dem Morden in Gaza!

    At the previous hearing on 17.01.25 the state put the comrade in a wooden cage while more police officers gave testimonies regarding the “attacking police” charge. Their testimonies highlighted among other things their arbitrary use (or non-use) of bodycams and their feeling of being somehow above the law.

    The dear comrade has been held since October 2024 in prison (Untersuchungshaft) for allegedly: Attempted damage to property, attempted arson, use of signs of unconstitutional or terrorist organizations, resistance to law enforcement officers, and assault on law enforcement officers.

    In the next hearing, the judge will continue addressing the charges of “resisting arrest” and “assaulting the police,” with more police testimonies. Let us all join in solidarity with this brave woman who defends her principles and Palestine even from behind bars!

    In this series of talks, Abdou will expand on different elements of his book, Islam & Anarchism: Relationships & Resonances (Pluto Press, 2022). He will address the year 1492’s historical, material, spiritual and symbolic significance, particularly for Muslims, Jews, as well as Indigenous, Black, and People of Colour, globally. Beyond the neoliberal academy (that at best is a site of resistance, not liberation) he will discuss the failures of the Arab Spring including its secular colonial and statist aspirations, as well as “hypocrisy in solidarities” and how the liberation of Palestine is braided with Turtle Island. He will attend to the difference between: Strategy and Tactic, Mobilizing and Organizing, Anti-colonial resistance and Decolonization.

    Dr Mohamed Abdou is an interdisciplinary scholar of Indigenous, Black, critical race and Islamic studies, as well as anti-racist, feminist, gender, sexuality, women, decolonial and post-colonial studies with extensive fieldwork experience in the Middle East-North Africa and Turtle Island. He is a self-identifying Muslim anarchist and diasporic settler of colour based in Tkaronto, so-called Canada.

    There will be a limited number of Mohamed’s book, Islam & Anarchism, available for purchase at these events. Pass on Press will also have copies of our third edition available for purchase: a bilingual zine featuring two of Abdou’s shorter articles: “It is a Racial-Religious War: Organizing and a 1492 Transnational Movement Framing” and

    Am Freitag steht der nächste Prozess wegen der Besetzung des Jabalia Instituts im Mai letztes Jahr an. Die Person wird von der eigenen Universität des Hausfriedensbruch verklagt.

    Wir rufen alle auf, in das Gericht zu kommen! Schluss mit der Strafverfolgung durch Universitäten!

    Gleichzeitig findet eine Kundgebung von „Palestine At The Forefront” statt, da eine Person aus der Palästinabewegung ebenfalls vor Gericht steht, die seit Oktober 2024 in Untersuchungshaft sitzt. Unser Kampf gegen Repressionen ist ein gemeinsamer, also kommt zur Kundgebung!

    تقبع أحد الفتيات منذ أكتوبر ٢٠٢٤ في السجن بذمّة التحقيق بتهم: محاولة إلحاق الضرر بالممتلكات، ومحاولة الحرق العمد، واستخدام شعارات لمنظمات غير دستورية أو إرهابية، ومقاومة الاعتقال، والاعتداء على شرطي.

    A dear comrade has been held since October 2024 in prison (Untersuchungshaft) for allegedly: Attempted damage to property, attempted arson, use of signs of unconstitutional or terrorist organizations, resistance to law enforcement officers, and assault on law enforcement officers.

    تعدّ هذه سابقة خطيرة للغاية ضد حركة التضامن مع فلسطين، حيث كانت الحالة الوحيدة المشابهة التي نعلم بها في أواخر عام ٢٠٢٣. حيث يتم استخدام التهم المعتادة (والملفّقة في كثير من الأحيان) لوضع الشخص في السجن بانتظار جلسة الاستماع في المحكمة! بمعنى أنه لم يتم إثبات التهم المزعومة ضدها في المحكمة ولم يتم الحكم عليها أصلاً!

    This is a very dangerous precedent against the pro-Palestine movement, with the only known similar case being in late 2023. Here, the usual and often made-up charges are used to put a person in jail pending a court hearing! Meaning, the alleged charges against her are not proven in court and she was not sentenced.

From 7:30 on then we host a book presentation of the freshly (into german) translated „صمود Ein Land Voller Stimmen” with lecture of parts about imprisonment and repression. There will be space for discussion as well. The event will be in German/English

    „صمود Ein Land Voller Stimmen” (A Land full of voices) is about diverse stories from the refugee camp Dheisheh in Bethlehem. Stories that speak about imosed poverty and the fight for gender equality. About how it is to be a child in Palestine and about the historical and geopolitical interests behind the occupation. About mass incarceration, the social fragmentation by repression, the constant missing which becomes reminiscent struggling. About physical separation by means of walls and means of bureaucracy as repressive method of the occupation, which seeks to control every moment of life. Last but not least the book talks about the love for freedom and the desire for a common and self-determined life.

    Das neu ins deutsch übersetzte Buch, „صمود Ein Land Voller Stimmen” handelt von diversen Geschichten aus dem Flüchtlingslager Dheisheh in Bethlehem. Geschichten, welche von aufgezwunger Armut und dem Kampf für Geschlechtergerichtigkeit erzählen. Davon, wie es ist in Palästina Kind zu sein und von den historischen und geopolitischen Interessen hinter der Besatzung. Den Masseninhaftierungen, der sozialen Zerstücklung durch Repression, sowie dem ständigen Vermissen, das zum erinnernden Kämpfen wird. Der physischen Trennung in Form einer Mauer und der Bürokratie als repressive Methode der Besatzung, die jede Sekunde des Lebens zu kontrollieren versucht. Nicht zuletzt erzählt das Buch von der Liebe zur Freiheit und dem Wunsch nach einem gemeinsamen und selbstbestimmten Leben.

    Am Montag den 09.12. um 19:00 laden wir euch ins Gefangeneninfo Café (Weisestr. 53, Neukölln) ein, um das Buch vorzustellen. Am Sonntag den 15.12. um 15:00 in den Info Laden S8 (Schererstr. 8, Wedding) und am 16.12. um 19:00 zum Anarchist Dinner ins Bethanien (New York Bethanien, Kreuzberg). Bei jeder Buchvorstellung konzentrieren wir uns auf eines der vielen Themen, welche durch die Geschichten in dem Buch aufgeworfen werden.     Documentary : We Will Return to Our Homes

    It’s been a year since Israel used the October 7 attack to justify the erasure of Gaza, and since video journalist Bisan Owda picked up her camera to show the world what’s happening on the ground. In that time, she’s been forced from her home into continuous displacement, had bombs fall around her and documented the stories of Palestinians surrounded by their decimated homes.

    She’s spoken to strangers sharing what little they have, children trekking to get water for their families and people creating a way to survive out of nothing. She’s ensured the world sees how life has changed entirely for Palestinians, sharing stories of hunger, thirst, illness, injury, bombings, grief and death.

    Since October 2023, Israel’s assault has killed over 41,800 Palestinians, damaged or destroyed well over 70% of Gaza’s homes, throttled aid, and leveled infrastructure necessary for survival.

    One year into the genocide, Israel is adopting a final-solution strategy to exterminate Palestinians in the north of Gaza and the fighters of the Jabalia camp. After one year of never-ending terror, the situation in the north of Gaza is currently more devastating than ever.

    For 12 days now, Israel has managed to reach new heights of inhumanity and criminality by upgrading its siege on Northern Gaza: no food or aid trucks have been allowed to enter the north, while the last bakery has been bombed. Family after family is being erased in a series of indiscriminate shelling, the goal of which is to annihilate those who have refused to flee their land.

    As Israel advances into what is possibly the deadliest phase of its genocide yet, we cannot watch silently in despair. Join us today at Hermannplatz to stand in solidarity with Gaza. Let us unite in grief, anger, and resistance. Our presence on the streets shall always remain a stark reminder that we see this genocide and its settler-colonial perpetrators for what they are, we witness Germany’s continuous complicity in the extermination of Palestinians, and we hear your deafening silence.

    We will not let the status quo continue unchallenged. We will keep fighting, until Palestine is free, from the river to the sea.
