In view of Israel’s ongoing genocide against the Palestinian population, in which Germany is complicit, we fully support this statement. And also in view of the murderous wars against the populations of Kurdistan, Sudan, the Kanaky, the Mapuche, the Papuan, Congo, Sudan, Western Sahara, and so many more – in which (neo)colonial states in particular continue to start or promote wars worldwide in order to enforce exploitation and oppression for their capitalist profits.
As anarchists, we should not stand on the sidelines of history, especially now, and must actively oppose the silencing of migrant, internationalist and intersectional positions – also in our scene and our neighbourhoods. The ruling narrative of “Solidarity with Israel”, which is being bashed through all the way into our neighbourhoods with the help of the state-backed warmongering and racist propaganda machinery and the accompanying repression and police brutality, must be broken by all means. Also because it is a blueprint for how any antagonistic resistance will be crushed in the future.
As Anarchist, we stand with peoples’ anti-colonial antifascist liberation struggles and against all nation-states – no border, no nation, end the occupation!
For us, “No one is free until everyone is free!” means that we must sabotage the attempts of those in power to integrate the Queer/LGBTI+ community into the nationalist, chauvinist and racist marching order by means of pinkwashing. We condemn the exclusion and criminalisation of pro-Palestinian groups in particular from various Christopher Street Day parades, where even the German arms lobby is welcomed to march. We salute all self-organised queer demos and Prides that refuse to be co-opted by state and capitalist authoritarianism: go hard!
Over the past months, an Anarchist/Autonomous Network has formed in Berlin, that aims to break the silence also in our scene in the face of the genocide by the “Israeli” army with united synergy. There were spray and stencil actions, banner drops etc. in various neighbourhoods and an Anarchist Block at the Nakba demo. And there are also Küfas, soli-concerts and info-events on the subject in more and more scene locations, as well as more and more anarchist/autonomous participation in rallies, demos and flash mobs.
We call on everyone: Join us!
And join the common anarchist block at the Internationalist Queer Pride. Bring whatever you want – your own signs, banners, flags etc.! Prepare yourself for possible repression, because the racist cops are currently totally unhinged in order to enforce the so-called „Deutsche Staatsräson” („German reasons of state interest”) with escalating brutality.
