* CONNEWITZ is a neighborhood Kiez in South-Leipzig, where still many autonomous, anarchist and left-radical house projects and bars are located. But besides that have also some stronghold of the zionist so called “Antideutsche”, like further south the ex-squat and party-location Conne Island — sometimes you can see many posters by the zionists in the streets. The pro Palestine rally took place in the area right in the heart of Connewitz near the park Herderplatz, which is highly frequented by the leftist scene.
