All together, we have learned a lot in the last years: Countless times we have stood our ground on the streets, fighting side by side with our comrades. Almost as many times we stood strong in front of German courts, where we showed up collectively, not bowing to authorities but proudly voicing our solidarity with our comrades facing repression and unwavering support of the Palestinian people.
One area where we have been caught off guard on too many occasions to count, rests in our pockets for most of the day: our phones. Considered a necessity, everyday item, we often ignore the fact that it can be turned against us and our comrades when handled without care.
This is why we invite you to come to our Crypto-Workshop! We want to share knowledge and take first, second and third steps together, to protect ourselves and our comrades to the best of our ability. No matter if you are just curious to learn, a beginner, or already advanced when securing your devices, we will try to create a space where we can learn with and from each other. No one has to leave unencrypted!
This time, and only this time: bring your phones!
لقد تعلمنا الكثير في السنوات الماضية: وقفنا إلى جانب بعضنا البعض في الشارع، وواجهنا قمع الشرطة مع رفاقنا. كما تآزرنا بثبات أمام المحاكم الألمانية، ولم ننحني في وجه قمعهم، بل عبرنا بدون تردد عن تضامننا مع رفاقنا الذين يواجهون استهداف الدولة ودعمنا الكامل للشعب الفلسطيني.
أحد المساحات التي تمت مباغتتنا فيها مراراً وتكراراً نجدها في جيوبنا معظم اليوم: الهاتف. نعتبره من الضروريات اليومية، وغالباً ما نتجاهل حقيقة أنه يمكن أن ينقلب ضدنا وضد رفاقنا عندما يتم التعامل معه باستهتار.
لهذا السبب، ندعوكم للحضور إلى ورشة عمل “التشفير الرقمي” لكي نتشارك المعرفة ونتخذ الخطوات الأولى لحماية أنفسنا ورفاقنا. بغض النظر عما إن كان لديك الفضول للتعلم، أو أنك بالفعل ذو دراية، أو حتّى خبير في تأمين أجهزتك، سنحاول خلق نقاش يمكننا فيه التعلم مع ومن بعضنا البعض. لا أحد يجب أن يغادر دون تشفير!
هذه المرة، وهذه المرة فقط: أحضروا هواتفكم!
